| Looks good Rad, though I think with some basing and maybe an Ogryn flesh wash over the gold, it'd look even better. Nice work. _________________ Regards, Jake.

| Got to agree with RC here. This is a good mini and only a few minor tweeks could make it really good |

| Would a watered down Scorched Brown work? Thanks for the comments, I'll try and base it (along with most my miniatures soon ) _________________ www.modelbits.co.uk - 40K and Fantasy bits hot off the sprue! NOTE:Radagastbird is in no way related to Model Bits. |

| One of the washes would be better than watered down paint. If you can, you should definately invest in them as they are well worth it. _________________ - House wrote:

| They are? I though that being smaller pots, costing more and 1/2 content of water they were an original GW rip-off. At least thats what I heard Also, I'm currently way-away (3'000 miles) from the 'nearest' GW shop so I'll stick to what I've got now for a while. So would Scorched Brown work? _________________ www.modelbits.co.uk - 40K and Fantasy bits hot off the sprue! NOTE:Radagastbird is in no way related to Model Bits. |

| Yep, they're definately worth it. They last for ages in my experience (I bought the full set when the first came out, and so far, only one has run out, and that was only a week or two ago).
Watered down scorched brown would work, although it wont look anywhere near as nice as a proper wash. _________________ - House wrote:

| Ok, I tried a watered-down Dark Flesh and it worked better as the reddish brown went better with the gold. Thank you for the suggestion I'll take that into consideration next time I get anywhere near a GW _________________ www.modelbits.co.uk - 40K and Fantasy bits hot off the sprue! | I actually do find that watered down Browns work better than the new washes. I used to be a realy fan of the new washes however I have found out over time that there are a lot of ways of getting better results. _________________ Regards, Jake.
