We at Might of Middle-earth want to ensure that all of the articles in our article library are written to a high standard no matter what the level of talent required to follow the article is. Due to this we require that all users wishing to submit an article read and follow these guidelines.

All Articles

If you are only writing an article for your publicity or to raise your standing in these forums, then don't even try 
submitting the article! We would like our members to be submitting because they want to share their skills and 
help other members.

Spelling - An important issue! If you submit an article, please spell as correctly as you possibly can. Use 
a spelling and grammar checker on your Word Processor as this will make it look better and save both yourselves 
and us hassle. Any text speech or too many mistakes and the article will be disapproved straight away!

Pictures - Another important thing in an article. Specific articles won't have pictures but a lot will. Picture 
shouldn't be too small (not something like 100 or 200 pixels) or too large. Maximum Image width of 700 pixels 
please! (although if needs be we can resize them ourselves whilst proofreading the article). Make sure the pictures 
are clear or else they WILL be rejected! 

Painting Articles

Painting articles should always include a list of paints used in any painting guides or it will be rejected until you 
have fixed it! 

Include a step by step guide for each stage of painting the item you paint! You should include WIP pictures following 
the picture guidelines above. 

You should also include pictures of the finished product from different angles at the end of the article.

Terrain Building Articles

Include lists of materials and tools and paints used! 

Step by step guides like mentioned above should be used. You should include some nice clear pictures of the 
finished result from various angles.

Converting and Sculpting Articles

Include lists of Materials and Tools used! 

Step by step guides like mentioned before should be apparent. Again, please include pictures of the finished result 
from various angles!

Gaming Articles

Gaming articles should generally have a lot of text and be very detailed as the majority of them will include tactics and 
gaming techniques.

House rule articles should be detailed and include playtesting information.

Battle Report articles should contain a detailed run through of the events of the battle in question. It would also be 
beneficial to include photos of the battle.

Sourcebook reviews (or anything similar) should have a detailed run through and analysis of the book as well as 
an overall opinion of the book itself. You must not, however, breach copyright infringement.

Diorama Articles

Include lists of materials, tools and paints used for the diorama! 

Again, step by step guides are essential including various angled pictures of the finished product.

Miscellaneous Articles

Miscellaneous Tutorials can be of anything Hobby related not included in the other sections (Paint Stripping for example).

Ensure that you follow the guidelines mentioned above for other categories where applicable.
