Pretty simple thread, since Halloween's this month and the weather (at least over here in the States) as cooling down and getting spooky

Anyone doing anything cool this Halloween?

Personally I'm masquerading as Sweeney Todd and hosting a Call of Cthulhu RPG at my place on Halloween night

Haven't got anything planned - don't have anything to dress up as and haven't got any friends to hang out with anyway

The British don't reall get into the spirit of Hollowen(No pun intendid). We jsut see as a day to get the Water pistol out and aim it out of the window all night

As a slight correction to Jaws's first stement - the little kiddies get into the halloween spirit, but the rest of us don't (just pretend to be out to avoid trick or treaters begging at the door )

In Sheffield there's a thing called "Fright Night" near Halloween. Not decided if I'm gonna go yet, was fairly fun last year. Generally I tend to not really do anything on Halloween unless there's some kinda party going on

Incidentally Jaws, me and my friend are planning to go around dressed as the dead collector and the "I'm not dead yet!" guy in the cart from Monty Python It'll take alot of effort but I think it'd be worth it!

Bar humbug. I've never really done Hallowen. I went around on Halloween about 4 years ago with som friends who where all younger than me and some of the poeple offered me a whole pile of stuff even tho i stoud well back.
I'm fine with giving kids stuff but i will not take part other wise. Tho we don't even get Trick or treaters here since we move (High retirement area). If i did anything i would dress up as death and wonder around an old foaks home.

Not been a huge fan of Halloween since a certain incedent near our area involving a group of Chavs throwing eggs at an old ladies house, leading to her dying of shock. It's disgusting really how a small group of people can take something like Halloween and rip it to shreds, yet I gaurantee they'd never dream of doing that to something like Christmas or somebodies birthday.

Though the family still has a nice big get together, watches a scary film and dresses up. There's a really good costume shop near me with some brilliant/scary/realistic looking costumes and I'm thinking of having the Werewolf one.

Just $15 US (that's with the shipping from across the country), so for a sarp stainless steel blade, not bad

Sounds like excellent value - maybe you should have bought a couple and made some holsters/straps to go inside your costume's waistcoat for them

Second one's actually on its way, and I already have the holster...just need to take a trip to the antique shop and browse through their clothes for an authentic waistcoat, then go to the costume shop and get a few pints of fake blood and hair dye/bleach

Sounds like a very thoughough job - maybe you should go to a tailor's instead and get an entire wardrobe of Victorian-esque clothes for day-to-day wear. (hmm must file away that idea for when I'm earning lots of money :p )
