| Oh sweet! Paint job on the robes looks garish as usual, but the models is great! I mean, I don't play Warhammer Fantasy, but he wouldn't be out of place as a cult leader in a game of Cthulhu  |

| All I want to know is what it's Fight Value is, whether it can be equiped with an Elven Cloak or not and why its got a funny shaped base - is that to do with a special rule or something? |

| Hmm, I think its a perfectly nice miniature.
I would say GW has improved their sculpting casts recently, because all of their new metals (heroes especially) have taken a big step up in an era in casts. Some may know what i mean, they have a modernised feel to them.
I am thinking especially of the salamander and white scars commanders miniatures. Very sweet.

| Actually it's £30 to go to games day, and like you said you can just buy them for a tenner on eBay anyway. |

| I saw the games day mini at my local GW in the New Releases section. I assume it was this one, only glanced at the blister. They certainly had a lot of them. |

| May be a different one Cal unless they're selling tickets to the UK GD. Unless I'm mistaken, each GD has it's own mini. |

| Yeah fair enough. It was just metal so I couldn't really tell what it was and I was looking for a LotR model at the time. It just said Games Day in big letters on the blister. Though if they're different, how come I get updates from the Australian site about the mini, or are all e-mails done together? |

| Actually I believe that every GamesDay in one year has the same model (for example, Games Day UK 2009 has the same special edition miniature as that of Games Day Chicago 2009). |
