So I've recently been looking through IMDb and have been amazing surprised and excited by some of the upcoming movie results I've seen!

* Nightmare on Elm Street
* The A-Team
* Toy Story 3
* Ironman 2
* PREDATORS!!!!!!!!!!!! (Basically Predator 3)
* Cats and Dogs 2
* Paranormal Activity 2
* Harry Potter 7 Part 1

Along with loads of other titles which look great too (along with some terrible looking ones such as the dreaded Twilight Saga - Eclipse ).

I'm looking forward to Iron Man 2 and Toy Story 3 very much, and I absolutely cannot wait for Deathly Hallows part 1!! I'm gonna get a band of friends together and go as a bunch of Death Eaters

Don't forget the next Narnia movie, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, coming out late December this year

A few good movies coming out then. Looking forward to Ironman 2, Deathly Hallows and Narnia. But my most anticipated movie has got to be 'Tomorrow: When The War Began', coming out September 2 here in Australia. That has to be one of my favourite series.

My opions in order

* Remakes are rubbish and i don't like horrors so this has nothing on me.
* no MR T and i'm a big fan of the original so i don't want to see this because i know they will destroy it.
* And this is the first "Disney Pixar" film...what a supprise a squal. Tho i would like to see it...it's pixar! why wound't i....unless it's cars.
*Sooooo going to see this. I love the first one and now we have War Machine in there too!
* Never seen anyof them and my knowlage about them croms from AvP 1 (Which was crap) and "Get to da Chopper!!!"
* So looking forward to this as well as i love the original.
* Burn in hell who ever thoguht that needed to be made. First was crap this will be worse.
* And that i9s to be expected. I stopped watching them after the 2nd one and i would ocaninaly catch it on TV or at my ex's with her DVD's.


Also i'm dreading Twilight too. the first was ok for a chick flick it seemd, the second was down right bad so it can only go down hill from here.
And i think this pictures sums up Twilight very well.

I'm surprised jaws how many of those you don't like the sound of. In my opinion, remakes as of recently have not been bad at all, a lot of which recently have been fantastic. And the new Nightmare on Elm Street looks fantastic.

Predator - amazing film
Predator 2 - good film
AVP - better than Predator 2
AVP2 - good twist but not as good as the others

However I think Predators! has a lot of potential as they've got good actors, great writers and director and have even said themselves the previous scripts were bad and that they're working hard with this one. Plus it's back to a good sci fi action film with 3 aliens hunting a bunch of people - no stupid plots or twists to confuse it.

i'm more intresting in AvP the game as it looks like a remake of a fantastic old game from the Sega CD i belive.

Well, I was just at the theatre and got my advance tickets for Alice in Wonderland which comes out next week...I'm looking forward to this one very much

i'm not. Tho this is 1 time when i think CGI will work it has Tim Burton directing a new version of a fantastic film with Jonney Deep in it.....sounds familier...oh ya Charlie and the Choclate factory. And tho it was ok it didn't hold a candle to the old one.

I'm going to see 'Alice' next week - hopefully it'll be good but its recieved a lot of hype...

Of RC's list I think the only ones I'm planning to see are HP7 and IM2 - but I'm sure they'll be others coming out.

oh i just herd the other day about 3 other "Sequals" come this year(Or eairly next year)
We have Free Willy 4 whihc i must say look sh1t! You see better actors from a first school.

The others is that there are rumors of a Die Hard 5 which will be awsume and a Pirates of the Carbian 4. The later sound s little too...money grabbing as the trilagy didn't need another film and also there will be no william or elizabeth this time witch is a real disapointment. The villan is supposed to be Black Beard but after he fought and undead captain and Davie Jones black beard seems a step down. Haven't heard anyhthing else about Die Hard 5 tho other than Bruce willis will be back.

Pirates of the Carribean 4 is another Jack vs Barbosa film, if you remember correctly the end of the 3rd film left it open for a sequel after Barbosa once again took off with Jacks ship.

Ye're a bit early though on those jaws, PotC 4 and Die Hard ill be released in 2011, not 2010

i thought they might as they are only rumors so far really so i wasn't expecting anyhting until atleast november at the eailyest.

Well I'm not sure of Die Hard, but PotC is confirmed to be released on May 11, 2011.

What? Another 'Pirates'? Oh.... What ever happened to "quit while you're ahead" - ? I know the ending of 3 left it open but I thought that was kind of the point; a sort of "this amusing conglomeration of occurances has reached its conlusion but the exotic characters will continue to adventures full of exciting and piraty deeds"....

There is no way 4 can be a good thing...talk about flogging a dead horse...

I dunno, I've seen some very creative rumours. Plus the Pirates films to me were good, but silly fun films. No matter how cheesy something seemed, it was still fun. I for one am looking forward to seeing it, especially because piracy isone of the concepts behind SotDL, which I'm releasing that summer (horray for un-intended tie-in interest )

a few years ago i would have said "A 4th film is never good"....and then i saw Die Hard 4. but i felt that POC3 was a little weaker than the others and i still think the first one was the best (As it's a stand alone too)

What about Indiana Jones 4? That was still a good film And I though PotC3 was the best one

new seen it and from what alot people say when i said i haven't seen it they say "don't see it"

It was a good action film, but to me it wasn't that good an Indy film, but I suppose it's mainly to do with the first three all being based on the action/horror serials of the 30s and having a religous angle, while the 4th was based on the Sci-Fi serials of the 50s and as such doesn't really fit with the first three (if it was a stand alone rather than a continuation, it would probably be regarded more highly)

And while we're on the subject of George Lucas films - A New Hope is 'technically' the fourth Star Wars film

Each to their own I guess - I personally prefered the first one.

I enjoyed all three - like Fen said, as silly fun films - but I think I agree with the others that while the third film was certainly more visualy spectacular, the first was probably my favourite.

I'll keep an eye on number four but they're going to have to do something down-right increadible for it not to fall flat in its face as it fumbles around in the shadow of the first three.

Teaser trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows for those who haven't seen it yet. And apparently next weekend they'll have a newer one released during the Harry Potter weekend on ABC Family (in the States at least)
