| Anyone here play this game? I've been interested in it for a long while but finding the time, money, and motivation (considering there are so few who play) is really difficult. I'd love to do a all-inclusive campaign using BFG, Planet Strike, 40k, Cities of Death, and Apocalypse, in that order. I saw that WD had their Rok of Ages campaign but that seemed a bit of a dud to me. No doubt the problem was poor coverage and the exclusion of BFG. |

| You forgot Epic :p I don't play, although I've seen it played. To be honest, I haven't really got the money to start it |

| I don't play it but i have played once(And won against an experiance player). I love almost all the modlas too. But with my 40K army less than complete and with LOTR getting a new release this saterday i'm really straped for cash. |

| Like all of the specialist games, BFG would need a major overhaul to make it successful and there's little chance that GW will do that. In a zero-sum scenario, however, I'd rather see them stick to improving 40k, LotR, and WHFB than get bogged down in something like BFG. As I said, I'm kind of with both of you on this one: the money I have available is going to other things. I'd still like to get some of it together one day for a super campaign and, yes, maybe even using epic.
Jaws, you must have really ruffled that BFG player's feathers, beating him with no experience. The first game of WHFB I ever played was out of someone else's Battle for Skull Pass that he had just spent a month putting together. I think it dampened his enthusiasm somewhat when I handily won on turn four. |

| Like others, I have seen it played and played a couple turns. I liked the miniatures but I was a bit surprised that Tau vessels weren't sleek but bumpy and not-so IMO tauish. |

I do really like the game but the mian turn of is lack of gamers. There is one I know of but i can't stand the guy, he just annoys me so much. |

| Hey Alfirin, I checked out FW's Tau ships and they're awesome! They look a lot more 'tauish'. Thanks for the lead |

| They really are much better than those boxy things GW sells. The only problem (for me at least) is getting them from FW.
You know, even the ugly ones GW has might do a little better if they gave them something a little more interesting than that hideous white and red paint job. I really wonder what they were thinking on that one. |

| Well it'd probably be cheaper buying FW's Tau for me seeing as I'd have to order from GW UK or some such anyway FW's prices for some things aren't actually that bad. I think I can get one of their cool crisis suits for about the same as it'd cost me to buy from GW. But anyway. BFG is a cool game, kinda like Space Chess I've ehard it described? Easy because of the free rules. I printed them out and was going to collect it but got into Aeronautica Imperialis instead which is also an awesome game. Sweet models and you don't need many (or really terrain) but rules are expensive... |
