hey guys, i know this post is random but i put my isengard troll together today and putting the model together was awesome it is such a nice kit to make and as soon as its painted ill post pics, peace out.

i have to admit that the Troll kit is a very nice kit. I have a total of 5 trolls tho 1 is the old Metal one and another is a converted metal/platic hybrid, then i have a normal Mordor Troll, an Isengard Troll and then a Drummer Troll. Don't know when i will ever use all of them

Hey uruk, I've moved this to hobby discussion. It seemed the best place for it as it's discussing building a troll and that you're going to be painting it soon. General LOTR SBG is more for discussing the game itself.

As for the troll, nice and I look forward to seeing it if you do post it up. I've had a look at the new troll kits and they do look very nice. I just can't justify paying the same price for a plastic one as the original metal, so I'm sticking to my old metal trolls

If you use paper-mache and greenstuff you can actually get two trolls out of the kit.

thats cool red corsair ive never worked with the old metal trolls as im still pretty new to the hobby, they look cool but a big metal model is a bit daunting do they stay together well?

The metal trolls are great, my dad painted one up a long time back and its survived the test of time excellently
