| This is my gamer-friends' current obsession and despite claiming to be lacking in the necessary funds I finally caved a bought my copy today. Despite not having played the game's predecessor from the little I've seen and played so far it looks pretty good...in that life-controlling, 'where did the last two weeks of my summer go?' sort of way. The online play looks particularly tasty although, woe is me, since our house went wireless our internet has been painfully tempremental...*sigh*
Anybody else played it or intending to? What are your thoughts? |

| Ahhh Starcraft, I commend you on your excellent purchase AW! It's by far one of the most epic strategy games out there. I'm a huge fan of the original and not yet had time to pick up the sequel just yet, but having waited 12 years for its release they must've had time to do something right! I would definitely recommend picking up a cheap(ish) copy of the original, the hype is well-earned. How would you rate the sequel from a new person's point of view? I'd be interested to hear what you think in comparison to what I've heard from people who've played the original too. Cheers, Raccy. |
