Very good. Definately a bold move to - Spoiler:
kill off the Doctor for real at the start
. Also, the aliens are very interesting and once more show Moffat's love of High Octane Nightmare Fuel - - Spoiler:
The aliens are a race of beings that look sort of like tall, mouthless versions of the Roswell Greys, who can shoot lightning from their finger tips, and (here's where the nightmare fuel kicks in) you can only remember them as long as you look right at them; the instant you look away you completely forget that they exist - e.g. in one scene Rory and river are investigating some tunnels, and rory goes to the door to check if the tunnel they've come down is still clear; he sees the aliens, is scared, turns to tell River and instead say "All clear". With the fact that the tunnels were of alien origin, were several centuries old at least, and were built at sewer level under an American city, the implication is that they could have been on Earth for millenia, but noone knows because every single person who's seen them forgot they existed the instant they looked away
. All in all, a good episode, and I'm really looking forward to pt2 next week |

| A good start to the series - hints at exciting things to come from the program. The aliens are a great concept and pretty scary too (as far as DW goes), can't wait for the next episode I just hope they keep this sort of thing up |

| looking goo so far. I was left wondering allot and the story seemed to jump all over the place. It also didn't help that my dad kept trying to get me to find out who the actor was who played the FBI guy as he had seen him before. Turns out he has been in almost every sy-fi program in history, Star Trek, Firefly, Warehouse 13 and many more. |

| Interesting second part, although I'd say it's definately overshaddowed by the ending - - Spoiler:
Bets on who the child is - TGed Master? Jenny? Reappearance of Rommana? Reapearance of the Rani? Reapearance of Susan? Child of one of the above? Never before seen time Lord? Amy really is pregnant and TARDIS travel really does screw with said child's genetics?

| Finally saw the first episode! It was certainly interesting. Not sure I liked the beginning (unless they find some way to alter those events) but the aliens were definitely scary and Amy having to tell the Doctor something was well done. Massive cliffhanger though. I think most people in the room yelled at the tv in frustration. The confidential then raised even more questions...
So is anything resolved in the 2nd episode? Or is the story still ongoing? |

Some stuff is resolved, some isn't. It also reveals that - Spoiler:
this is part of an ongoing arc which reaches back to at least Matt Smith's first episode

Yeah, the confidential revealed it was part of a massive arc (not sure that's a good thing). All the way back to his first episode though? Wow. But what about the Doctor's death? Any closer to resolving that? Because that's really annoying me! Especially after the confidential said he arranged it.

Yep, all the way back to the first episode, but only in the same sense that arc words like Torchwood or Saxon appeared a series before they became the series arc. As for the death, nope, that wasn't resolved.

| Ah, ok, that's cool. Well I've finally seen the 2nd episode (couldn't be bothered waiting ). The ending is big. - Spoiler:
She could be Jenny or maybe her daughter or Amy's daughter and/or River... Too confusing. I would say maybe Donna's daughter but the time thing might not work. This season promises to be frustrating

| I loved the second episode's opening scenes, clever ending too. I'm excited to see how the story arc is developed upon - looks set to be a very promising series. - Spoiler:
Given the way the "Amy is pregnant/no she's not/yes she is/oh wait...what?" plotline is shaping up I'm betting the girl is her daughter - as hinted at by the pictures Amy found in the room - and by the importance of the girl herself to these (and I suspect several other) aliens.

| Another thought on - Spoiler:
the child - could she be the Doctor? i.e. instead of him regenerating his 'death' that we saw enables him to be reborn in a new body, and that body is Amy and Rory's child? ...okay...maybe some theories are too far fetched
