I am a die-hard fan of the Age of Empires series of games. Although I have not yet found any 'official' information, I'm wondering if any of you have heard anything about Age of Empires 4? If not, what are your hopes for it?

I don't really know. I played 1 and 2 but never bothered with 3(Or even heard of it unitl now) I'm very difficult to please now with games and i rarely by a NEW game and often buy them after about 3 months or are on some sort of offer.

Age of Empires is a great series. The Original and expansions are brilliant, Age of Empires 2 and the Conquerors is even better than that but I have to admit, I was really looking forward to Number 3 and was somewhat dissapointed. The game itself is good but I prefer the others, I dunno, maybe I just prefer more Chivalric games.
Not heard anything about Number 4 though.

Age of Empires 3 went from the discovery of the Americas to the start of the colonies in Asia (in the expansions).

oh. I know the origianl went from Stone Age - Imperial Age(Romans i think) and the second went from Dark Age - Impericl age????? I know it's after Castle age. I loved thoses castles
