Mine were the minis in the Attack at Weathertop (or whatever it was called) set - the Witch King, Four Wraiths, Aragorn, and the four Hobbits, plus a little campfire.

Unfortunately I missed out on being able to collect the Battle Games in Middle-earth magazines as I didn't actually collect LOTR at that time (or I might have and just not heard about them).

Man, I'm going to feel old now...I got the original Fellowship of the Ring starter set with the rulebook and 24 Warriors of the Last Alliance and 24 Moria Goblins on Christmas right after FotR came out in the US. On my shelf I still have the rulebook (still a fantastic resource), and somewhere the rest of the contents are hidden with their bad paint jobs

Never got around to getting that As I recall the only time I had enough money to buy it, I decided to go for the Balrog and Gandalf set. |

I remeber that balrog. I spent many a day throwing it out the window becuase that whip is way too heavy and with GW no longer selling the plastic whip/sword or even the metal sword on there own i don't want to fork out £35 for a new Balrog. Dam you GW

well i have sort have too. Tho i started about the time the mag came out and been playing ever since as i find it really difficult to learn how to play alot of these sort of games(I have Asperges Syndrom so it's really difficult) and that was just what i needed even tho one the "One rule book" came out there where still using the old rules in the mag.
