| It's true, check out next month's White Dwarf for the sneaky peek (they said they'd reveal it in January's WD in the "next issue" section of December's magazine). I'll get a pic up as soon as I find it, but for now... DISCUSS!! The pros? The cons? The prawns? (had to, sorry ) Does this mean having an accurate portrayal of the Siege of Gondor and the Battle of the Morranon is slightly more affordable, or will GW put out a mediocre model for the same price as the current one (at $60 USD for the metal one they better bloody not!!). Cheers, Fenrir

| Plastic Fellbeast?! I was thinking about that the other day, wasn't expecting it to be a reality any time so soon. If it's good quality, I think this is a must buy. I mean there's just something so iconic about the Nazgul on Fellbeasts even if one doesn't play Mordor. |

| I think it'll probably be the same price as the metal one (they did that with the Balrog as I recall), although there'll probably be extras which can be used to make the different varieties of fell beast, and if we're lucky, there'll be bits to convert the various named wraiths (not counting on it though) |

| I would think that they would have thngs like Horned helms and extra armour for the type of Fellbeast but i woulod be supprised if they had the Nazgul in there for conversions. I also think that even if they did then the Witchking would be in there(As he's all ready got a version of his own) |

| Truth be told, I'd rather they didn't make an option for the Witch-King on plastic Fellbeast, mostly because everyone who wants to have one in their army probably already has the metal one. Plus with a big hero like the Witch King, I'd rather he be made of metal. |

| Ugh, just saw on Warsee that it's supposed to cost 35.00 pounds/??.??USD (but probably over $50)/96.00 AUS/and 50,00 Euros. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't those prices in fact higher than the current metal models |

| Dunno, but I don't think they're cheeper. Actually, why am I shocked - I predicted they wouldn't be cheeper |

| I was expecting the US price to be in the $40-45 range, but it's probably going to be over $50 over here in the States. I'll probably get one, just because a plastic kit means easier to assemble/convert (I want to make a Nazgul posed like the old Bo5A Smaug figure), plus the metal one is very topheavy and is prone to falling over |

| Hmm, never got around to buying a FellBeast - may have to get one of these if they're any good. |

| I think it's gonna be the same pose as the metal one with a few extra bitz. But the plastic means it'll be easier to chop up and convert |

| That's the same price as the current fell beasts (in fact they used to be £35 before the price rise in metal figs so they're probably £40 now). Didn't expect them to be much cheaper though if any at all.
They'll probably be very detailed as with all GW Plastics now (even if they aren't all good) and also most likely a damn sight easier to build. |

| They should be good. I have already said on OR, that a good move would be to provide spare claws and limbs so you don't have 8 or 9 identical monsters on the board. The trolls and ents are pretty easy to make all unique. with branches and weapon choices etc.
Now, as for the named ones. don't expect them all in the box, maybe a head/helmet for the WK. but for the other 7, you can use a generic wraith in the box. Or GW might be good enough to release a mounted named wraith in a blister, for which you will require the full box to add him to the mount.
e.g. Khamul (fell beast), The Betrayer (fell beast).
However, GW would have to do 7 wraiths blisters - and tbh they still have the dwimmerlaik to release.
lets see how it ends up!

| Well, I think the model itself looks great, but the paintjob is truly horrendous |

| Hmm, not too sure on this - will need to see the mini in the plastic as at the moment I'm not too impressed. The Fell Beast's head looks a bit 'goofy' to me and the Witch-King's helm looks flat and squashed :/ Hopefully there'll be multiple heads a la the Mordor/Isengard Troll kit. |

| I agree with Dinadan, I'm not big on the head/face at all - its more rounded and has lost all the menacingness of the creatures of the films. It could just be the paint job but the WK looks plastic to me which might go a little way toward explaining the 'flat' helm.
And does the FB's neck look shorter to anyone? |

| It's also got that goofy smile that I thought I only saw on the inbred hicks of Farmsville USA...
I will reserve judgement until I see it in the plastic. |

I will reserve judgement until I see it in the plastic. Maybe GW have started hiring Americans to pose for their sculptors. Ever see someone like this when you worked the tills at McD's Fen? |
