The LOTR SBG list Orc movement as 6". The PDF LOTR-Playingsheet shows Orc movement as 5". We use orc movement of 5" which make Uruk-hai movement of 6" faster. We feel the Uruk-hai are bigger, tougher and faster than Orcs.

It's 6"/14cm movement for the orcs. Games Workshop never changed the PDF when they updated the edition from the old Fellowship of the Ring days. So, tarry not! Every single inch of movement helps, especially in scenarios like Reconntrie...ugh...playing that with Goblins, Dwarves, or...*shudder*...hobbits is a nightmare

It's odd, cause when you look at a tape measure 6" is actually closer to 15cm, I believe.

It is in fact Gree but it would make it quite 'hard' to half movement with 15. It just works smoother when you half it to 7 rather than 7.5 cm

That's why I always use inches. You move farther.

| Yeah, just another verification that it is indeed 6" (or 5.2cm for the nitpickers here =D )

5.2cm? O.o Think you might be off there unless playing in cm makes you move really slowly. 5.2cm is barely over 2". 6" is more like 15.2cm
