As those of you who've seen my thread in the army list board know, I'm planning on converting up some SKoDA. I thought that I'd make this thread to show how things are getting on.

So far, I've done a head swap on one of the knights:


I'm not too sure on the size of the head though. Sometime it loooks alright, and others it looks small. What do you guys think - should I just leave it, or should I try to bulk out the helm with green stuff?

Hmm, the head is maybe a tad on the small side but it looks alright. I think the main problem is that the chainmail is really quite bulky and the head is specifically proportioned so the features are less. Reminds me a little of a truescale Space Marine

lol - I'm going to try bulking out the sides/back with greenstuff to see if that makes a difference - pics up when done.

Woah, you're Knights looks great! Nice heraldry, particularly like the quartered scheme. Not sure on the cloth of the axemen, but that's just personal preference. You've done well witht hese models.

Just ordered this Plan on turning it into a diarama of a SKoDA protecting some wounded comrades from attack

These are really starting to shape up. Shame I've been missing out on this thread, dunno how. But anyway these look really good, I like your use of alternative miniatures and I always have. Good job!

Actually, when he's done he'll be a Haradrim spearman, albiet one of a more wealthier standing than the norm (hence why he has mail).
