So IA9 is going to be on the Badab War (as is IA10). There are mixed rumours of release. Some expect both books this year, others early next, others IA9 this year, IA10 early next.
Apparently there will be a heavy focus on Astral Claws and Red Scorpions.
There will also be additional coverage for the other chapters thatparticipated in it, including changes to colour scheme etc. which are all supposedly great moves and look a lot better (and easier). The Space Sharks are mentioned as getting a rework to make them a more interesting (and serious) chapter. Also there will be a lot of chapter specific pads produced such as Mantis Warriors.
Apparently there's 9 chapters in the first book and 12 characters. Also included are rules for boarding actions which sound fun.

So is anyone tempted to buy this or collect a Badab War army? I've always been interested in the Badab War and the possibility of collecting one of the chapters involved (Howling Griffons/Mantis Warriors having been my favourites), so this will be very interesting to me. I'm going to delay the start of my Raven Guard so I don't suddenly regret not having chosen a different chapter (RG are very cool, just a little bland).
