| Quoted from an Email that i got from GW - Quote :
- In August, the immortal legions of the Ruinous Powers - the Chaos Daemons - will pour forth once more from the Realm of Chaos to drown the Warhammer world and the galaxy of the 41st Millennium beneath a tide of blood and destruction. Even now, mystics are assailed by nightmarish visions of horror and death, the fractured minds of madmen echo with sibilant whispers, and the doomed clutch symbols of their weak gods closer to them.
A host of incredible new Citadel miniatures for both Warhammer 40,000 Chaos Daemons armies and Warhammer Daemons of Chaos armies will soon be released upon mortal battlefields. All will be revealed in July here on the Games Workshop website and in August's issue of White Dwarf magazine, so keep an eye out for more information. This i belive means that Daemons are set for new modals and Codex for both Fantasy and 40k. Personly i feel it's too soon. They had a re-do not to long ago and that was good. Also it destroyes the idea that we would get Dark Eldar to finaly have a new codex. |

| Either that or it's actually last year's e-mail Hopefully it's just a case of them updating some of the models (e.g. plastic horrors and plaguebearers). Then again, considering how much people bitch about Daemons, maybe new army book/codex wouldn't be such a bad thing if it toned them down. |

| Yet again GW seem to be rehashing newly rehashed armies.
Pro-tip GW: why not make a new army book? You have said you'd like to do Cathay/Nippon (said in US WD 300), and why not do an Araby army in 30mm? |

| To be honest, I doubt GW cares that much - wouldn't suprise me if they're trying to milk it for all it's worth. Somehow, I doubt we'll see an Arabay army anytime soon considering the fluff on Arabay is based on that of real-world Arabs, and we all know how volitile 'non-PC' portrayls of real world cultures can get |

| well now would not be the best time for them to do it(PC wise) The last time we had a new army really was Tau as Gray knights etc was a poor attempt at it an failed completly.
What we really need is a new codex for Dark Eldar and Necrons. |

| Well it makes sense. GW seems to release everything in 2 waves these days, and Daemons were lacking the additional models, which is surprising seeing as they're for both systems. I've heard mentions of plastic horrors, plaguebearers and screamers, though I don't think anything is known. In my opinion, another Daemon release is good for two things. 1) It satisfies both a 40k and Fantasy scheduled release, allowing more time for other things, 2) It leads nicely into the introduction/revamp of their nemesis, and for this I can't wait (also fits with rumours that DH is the next codex out).
Dark Eldar, Necrons are coming. But they won't be out until the end of the year earliest, more likely next year. I'd have to look up the rumours again.
@ Jaws - MEQ = Marine Equivalent. Technically something with a similar statline to a standard tactical marine, often used to refer to units with 3+ armour saves. |

| thanks Cal. I have seen a post on Warseer by a person claming to be a GW enployey saing that Necrons will be out in january next year. He didn't reviel much other than a mew modals called "The Necromancer" which we belive is a new C'tan God. |

| No new codex or army book is going to be released, it's just new models in a second wave as they have done with most releases the last year or two. |

| Remember you can completely personalise the new DP. I've seen the kits and I know what you mean about the 'Plastic/Cartoon' look. But it doesn't look like that in the flesh and there are different heads, arms, bodies, wings, weapons etc. Though the metal DP is awesome |

| Here is a link to the GW page as they have now got some of there new Daemons stuff up. http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/armySubUnitCats.jsp?catId=cat1490603&rootCatGameStyle=So far we have the new Daemon Prince, Seekers of Slaanesh, Pink Horrors and a Metal "The Changeling". I have to admit that the picture that i had seen and the "poster boy" of the daemons release for the prince wasn't that great. However now i can see exactly what in the kit(they show both spures in the box) i have to say i might well get one now. I wanted an excuess to proxy my Marines as Chaos Marines. |

Just like somehow they find it necessary to charge an extra £2 for a Deamon Prince that is plastic instead of metal... |

| Even so, £10 for one man sized mini is just gobsmackingly horrific. As for the DP, it looks like you get lots of arms, so you could get a second DP or a spawn out of it if you put your mind to it |

| The Changeling is actually bigger than a man. It's on the same sized base but it's taller than a terminator. |
