Ok it's that time of the month again.

New Releases

40K
We have the Fortress of Redemption this months wihc is a massive modal and is probbaly bigger than a Mumak! We also have 2 new Megaforce boxes, 1 for the Space Mariens and 1 for the Orks. They aslo have a conversion pack for converting the Space Marines into "Crimson Fists".

Fantasy
Just as with 40K fantasy have 2 new "Brigade"'s for the Empire and Orcs & Goblins.

Other
GW have released 2 new expansions for there Gameborads released last year as well as 2 new army figure cases in dark green and deep red. We also have a new "Kill Krusha" form Forge world which is lovely.

Articles

40K
40K have some Planet Strike Tactica along with some new rules noted as "Stratagems" for each army. as well as a battle scenario for using the fortress of redemption.

Fantasy
This opens with a section called "Old War Stroies" which as far as i can tell is a large campaign gogin on at GW with conversion work also and some very nice lookign conversions. They also have a how to paint the Vermin Lord.

LOTR
The Blood and the Sand Campaign comes to an end with a large-ish SBG battle followed by a WOTR battle report(The SBG gets the shun again).

Other
There is a summary of the past year of what GW has released alogn with a how to build the Fortess of Redemption.

New Month
Next months is jam packed with the Beastmen for Fantasy get a revamp in febuaray by the looks of it. But the main draw is Tyranids getting a make over alogn with the "Legion of the Dammed" for the Marines.

My opion
This issue is a very missable on. Unless you really want to see the WOTR battle report than i would skip it. I think part of this is due to so few new releaces (Very unatural for this time of the year)

Hmm seems alright. What's the battle report between?

as the large Battle in the snads torney has been going on it is mainly Gondor Vs Fallen Realms however there are a few extra out of place unit/heros here and there like Eomer, Khazad Guard, Ents, Trolls and Ghosty legions.

I rarely buy WD, in fact I think I've only bought 1 issue in the last 2 years and that was for the Space Wolves release. And whilst I think Issue 360 is very boring, I am looking forward to next months simply for the sneak peaks at Beastmen.

I am as interested in this magazine issue...as...as....If only I had something to compare it too..

C'mon you're not that interested in it - remember GW still have some interest in LotR - how much money they can squeeze from it before they're flogging a dead horse

It won't be a dead horse, if anything else, there are so few lotr gamers in comparison to 40k and fantasy so there will be more content on these games systems instead of lotr. so its a win for GW, a win for 40k and fantasy lovers, and a lose for lotr folk. =/

Maybe, but they'll flog it until TH comes out and they get a sudden burst of of life from it

as soo as the Hobbit comes out there will be too many player saying stuff like they know the game after only playing 3 games.
