Thanks. Yeah, in BoH he had a beard (as does GWs version, although GW's version seems to imply his mum was...close....to Gandalf Razz), but I'm fairly sure in the books it mentions that those of part-Elven decent didn't grow beards (so Aragorn, Faramir and Boromir all should be beardless aswell).

Lol - Gandalf or a travelling Dwarf.... That's certainly a complicated family situation...

Hmm...I agree with you but it depends how closely you have to be 'related' to the Elf for facial hair to still not grow. Personally, I always thought Faramir and Boromir (and probably Aragorn and Arathorn) where diluted enough, in terms of elven-blood-ness, to have started growing beard again. Though, I can't remember the exact descriptions given of the characters by Tolkien...

AW's got a point...that Elf blood has been diluted with human blood for the last several thousand years. Razz I think Aragorn/Arathorn looks more ranger-y with a beard anyways Razz

Nicely done! I must agree that facial hair would look cool though.

Thanks guys.

@AW: I can't remember exact descriptions either, so I guess it's up to reader interpretation. I think I'll leave him beardless as a piece of triva in lieu of the lack of evidence either way Wink
