| I'd like some sort of general theme just to help me decide what to paint. And I'd like to know soon, seeing as I'm just getting back into painting and I'd love to be working on something in particular.
Maybe a captain competition (anything suitable for a captain whether you use it as one or not)? Or is that too specific? |

| Yeah. Though with my thematic approach I'm itching to go a captain and small unit of warriors, including individual names and a history of their actions so far  Or you could always go for points? Eg. a hero under 70 points... |

| I'd prefer it to be for any single model. Much easier if you, like me, only have unpainted warriors lying around. |

| You could always convert one to be a generic captain. In fact some captains you could get away without converting (e.g. give a WoMT some gold trim to his armour and silver trim to his tunic/skirt and you've got a captain). |

| I think all things considered from this tgread just a generic 'Single Miniature Painting Competition' like last time will do. See it as a fresh start like the old websites competitions, then next Painting Comp can see a different theme.
I'll post a thread announcing it sometime this week with rules, dates etc. |

Sorry Cal but the themed competitions we've run before weren't successful because of how small a website we are the number of entrants is small and theming it cuts down the no. of entrants again. We will have themed competitions in the future but for now I think Single Miniature is the way to go  Just paint a model you like the look of or that looks like a challenge |
