So what is your favourite, most used technique when painting?
I'd ssay mine is probably Highlighting. Whilst washes are a hell of a lot easier, highlighting does require more skill and patience but does also give a much better and more realistic effect once done properly.
I'm still practising highlighting myself but am slowly getting there.

I'd say a mix of highlighting and washes. I used to favour highlighting and the occasional drybrush, but since the release of the GW washes, I've used those a lot as they really help blend things together, and can even be used on their own.
